Electrolysis for PCOS:

‍If you're dealing with PCOS-related hair growth, you already know the drill: the chin hairs that show up overnight, the upper lip you check in every mirror, the frustration of shaving the same spot for the third time this week. You've probably tried everything. You're not alone, and there is an actual permanent solution.

‍ ‍

Why PCOS hair is different (and why laser often fails)

‍ ‍

Hormonal hair growth driven by PCOS tends to be finer, lighter, and more scattered than typical body hair — exactly the kind of hair laser struggles with, because laser needs strong pigment contrast to work. In fact laser can make fine hair worse and coarse PCOS hairs tend to be on the face, where laser never should be done. That's why so many of our PCOS clients come to us after laser treatments that didn't deliver.

‍ ‍

Electrolysis doesn't have that limitation. It targets the follicle directly, regardless of hair color or texture, which makes it the only method of hair removal that's actually permanent for hormonal hair growth.

‍ ‍

What treatment looks like

‍ ‍

Because PCOS hair can be more widespread and ongoing (new hairs can appear as hormone levels shift), your treatment plan will be personalized — some clients focus on the face, others need broader coverage. We'll talk through your specific pattern of growth and build a realistic timeline together, generally in the 12–24 month range for full clearance of currently active follicles.
